World Scholar's Cup 2026
Divisions: Senior: Any team with at least one student born before January 1, 2012, is automatically a Senior team.
Junior: Teams with all students born on or after January 1, 2012, can register as Junior (From 4th Grade to 8th Grade)
World Scholar's Cup
Poorna Foundation’s World Scholar’s Cup coaching program offers free training in debate, writing, and academic challenge skills to help students excel in this exciting international competition. The World Scholar’s Cup inspires collaboration, critical thinking, and a love for learning through events such as Team Debate, Collaborative Writing, the Scholar’s Challenge, and the Scholar Bowl.
Our program has earned over 350 medals and top placements in both Junior and Senior divisions, including back-to-back Jac Khor Awards for outstanding Scholar’s Challenge performance. Our experienced coaches have competed at Regional, Global Round, and Tournament of Champions levels, providing students with expert guidance and strong mentorship.
A Poorna Foundation team recently placed 1st at the 2025 Global Round in Ljubljana, winning 10 trophies and 32 medals: A testament to our students’ dedication and the strength of our coaching.
