Mother's Day Gift donation at Family Promise

On Mother’s Day, Poorna Foundation volunteers visited the Fort Bend Family Promise homeless shelter to celebrate and honor mothers. They distributed thoughtful gifts and cupcakes, spending time with the families and spreading joy. It was a heartfelt effort to show appreciation and bring comfort to women in challenging circumstances.
On Mother’s Day, volunteers from the Poorna Foundation had the privilege of visiting the Fort Bend Family Promise homeless shelter to share a small gesture of love and appreciation. We brought Mother’s Day gifts and cupcakes to celebrate the incredible mothers staying at the shelter — a moment to honor their strength and resilience.
Our volunteers spent time connecting with families, offering support, and making sure every mom felt seen and valued. It was a heartwarming experience that reflected the Foundation’s mission to serve with compassion and community spirit.
